WHAT DOES RUGER EC9S MEAN?

I have purchased so many that have defects, I am extra shocked if I get a new gun and it is good than finding just one that isn't nearly snuff. Will not make any difference regardless of whether it's Ruger, S&W or Kimber or Other individuals.
